About
Hi, I'm Scott.
Thank you so much for checking out PraiseShare.
PraiseShare was built by me, Scott — a 42-year-old husband and father of four kiddos from Temecula, California. I've been passionate about worshipping God since I first picked up a guitar when I was 15 years old.
Why I built it
It really came from a personal problem I've always had: it's hard to share lyrics in a small group setting. I don't want to share my screen to a TV, and I don't want to print out lyric sheets for everyone — I want them to see the lyrics in real-time.
On Sunday mornings, we have large screens and sophisticated technology to support us. But the tools for the small, intimate worship setting are few and far between.
My mission
I wanted a simple app that helped me organize my songs, lead worship, and — most critically — easily share lyrics to anyone who needed them. That's PraiseShare: keep your songs in one place, build a setlist, and share a link or QR code so everyone in the room follows along on their own phone. No printing, no screen at the front, no scramble.
What I believe
- Simple is powerful. The best tool is the one you forget you're using while you worship.
- Everyone's included. When the whole room can see the words, the whole room can sing.
- Your songs are yours. Your library and setlists belong to you, and are private unless you choose to share them.
I'm just getting started, and I'd love to have you along for it. Get early access and I'll email you the moment it's your turn.
